Focus on Vision Screening
When the pandemic stopped all vision screenings of very young children, A Shared Vision partnered to create a solution. Now, more than 500 professionals are qualified to use the new tool.

Bringing Families Together
Raising a child with special needs is challenging, leaving little time for parents to meet other families who have a child with a visual impairment. So, we made music together during a Family Fun Day.

Staying Home is Fun!
Parents of children who are blind or visually impaired asked for meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities to do with their children while staying safe at home during the pandemic. We listened!

Keeping in Touch
We empower caregivers through our monthly newsletter, social media, and website, where they learn about fun activities they can do with their child, stories about our teachers, or news about upcoming events.

Our Colorado Partners
Through our partnerships with 16 Community Centered Boards, supporting 83% of the state's population, we have become the leading provider of early intervention vision services in Colorado.

Sharing a Vision
We collaborated with Utah and neighboring states to host a virtual Western Regional Early Intervention Conference, supporting the needs of providers and families impacted by the pandemic.

A Shared Vision
We are teachers who educate, empower, and inspire caregivers of very young children who are blind or visually impaired. We work with families in their homes which is the optimal environment for early learning according to research. We conduct assessments and provide specialized strategies, resources, and tools specific to each family. We prepare caregivers to be their child’s first teacher and help guide their child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for their brightest possible future.
