Our commitment to you:

• We will always work in the best interest of your child and your family.
  
• We will be on time. If we are going to be more than 15 minutes late, we will call or text to notify you.
• We will contact you in a timely manner to schedule, cancel, and/or reschedule visits.
• We are available to take part in co-visits with your other service providers (SLP, DI, PT, OT, etc.) whenever possible.
• We will attend IFSP meetings and provide necessary information about your child’s growth and development.
• We are available to attend visits with you to your child’s pediatric ophthalmologist, pediatrician, neurologist, etc. to help you understand their diagnosis and recommendations.
• We will complete ongoing assessments on your child’s vision/sensory learning.
• We will provide visits in places other than your home. The library, grocery store, park, playground, and various community locations may also be used for home visits.
• Before your child turns three, we will assist you through the transition process from Early Intervention (IDEA Part-C) to school-based programming (IDEA Part-B).
  

Here’s what we ask of you:

• Be consistent. Understand that consistency is best for your child’s learning, and it is important that we see you on a regular basis.
• Communicate. Open lines of communication are very important for our relationship to be successful. If you have concerns or questions about anything, please address them with your teacher.
• Be respectful of your teacher’s time. If you must cancel, please do so as soon as possible so that your provider has time to rearrange their schedule. Please text or call to cancel and provide options for rescheduling if possible. We will bill your Local EI Program for no-shows if we are not notified of a cancellation in advance.
