This instructional eLearning video is open for all Children's Hospital Colorado therapists and other professionals interested in using Colorado's Vision Screening Parent Questionnaire, Birth to Age 3.

Learning Objectives

This training will provide you with the knowledge and practice to:

• Understand the importance of vision screening, including the impact of visual impairment to a child’s global development.
  
• Understand parent questionnaire terminology.
• Score the parent questionnaire.
• Determine appropriate next steps and referral, when appropriate.
• Understand whom to contact for ongoing support and training.

Tip
Print these documents, SINGLE SIDED if possible, as you will refer to them during the training. It will be easier for you to take notes and to mark your responses as you practice using the forms. 

If you are not able to print, you can use a tablet (e.g., iPad) or other computer screen to view the documents during the training. It will be challenging for you to try to flip between windows while we're together.

Final Quiz

The training includes a "final quiz." With a score of 80% or higher, you will receive a certificate of successful completion, including 1.5 clock-hour credit.
